Maja Kapiczowska

Manager Attorney-at-law

Maja specializes in providing legal advice to large business entities, including public companies within the areas of commercial / corporate law and capital markets law. She participated in numerous projects involving introduction of foreign investors to the Polish market.

She has extensive experience, in particular in advising in the area of commercial law, including complex restructuring projects of companies (transformation, separation of an organized part of an enterprise), as well as projects related to changes in the ownership structure of companies (e.g. share exchange or squeeze-out procedure of minority shareholders), also in the stock exchange environment.

In addition, she deals with ongoing advisory within the area of capital markets law, such as related to organization and conduct of Shareholders’ Meetings, comprehensive development and adjustment of corporate documents, including remuneration policy for members of the management and supervisory boards and remuneration reports, as well as assessment of events and activities from the perspective of infrmation obligations of listed companies.

Moreover, she specializes in projects involving the implementation and execution of incentive programs for employees and managers, based i.a. on financial instruments, tailored to the needs of the Client, taking into account legal, tax and investor relations aspects.

Member of the Spanish Desk team, providing specialized and dedicated support to Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław. As part of the ERASMUS programme, she also studied at the Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis in Nice and completed an internship at an international law firm in Madrid.

She is fluent in English, French and Spanish. She also plans to improve her Italian and try her hand at German.

She loves animals, vegetarian cuisine, literature, photography and travel outside the all inclusive option.

In the international ranking of The Legal 500 she was awarded the title of Recommended lawyer in the Commercial, corporate and M&A area.
