Senior Associate OW Legal

Aleksandra specialises in environmental protection law and construction law. She advises large and medium-sized enterprises on investment processes, as well as on the implementation and operation of projects, with a particular focus on environmental impact. She participates in real estate processes. Within the scope of these projects, she prepares, among others, comprehensive legal opinions on environmental law, as well as multifaceted contracts for the development of investments, including construction works contracts for key clients from the development, energy, production, and automotive industries.

She has extensive knowledge of environmental law, construction law, and copyright law related to the process of new investments.

Her experience includes legal support in the field of obtaining environmental permits, analysis of project parameters from the perspective of the need to obtain water permits, permits/notifications in the field of air emissions, as well as permits in the field of waste production and management, both at the stage of project implementation and operation. Moreover, she provides comprehensive advisory in the area of statutory obligations at the stage of commencement of operation of facilities, including production facilities, after the construction stage has been completed.

She has represented clients in administrative proceedings related to the widely understood impact of projects on the environment, as well as during inspections by the Province Environmental Protection Inspectorates.

Within the area of compliance and personal liability risk management, she has carried out projects involving the Management Safety & Liability Matrix (MSALM) consisting of legal advice in sorting out formal assignments of responsibilities in selected regulatory areas.

She has conducted comprehensive legal audits of clients' operations in terms of environmental impacts, including for the purpose of company sales.

She is the author of numerous legal opinions in the area of environmental protection law, including recommendations for proceedings concerning changes in environmental decisions.

She provides substantive support in terms of fulfilling companies' statutory obligations related to importing substances and/or mixtures to the EU and Poland, as well as those resulting from the REACH Regulation and national regulations.

She prepares contracts (including construction works contracts at each stage of project implementation and operation) and she also represents clients during contract negotiations.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław.

She is a participant in postgraduate studies in environmental law, including sustainable development, circular economy, corporate social responsibility, climate change and ESG at Lazarski University in Warsaw.

She is actively involved in animal protection foundations and associations.

She is fluent in English.
