International trade compliance

On behalf of a client, we requested an interpretation from the Minister of Economy regarding strategic goods regulations. The clarification confirmed that the product was not subject to dual-use regulations, allowing legal export outside the EU without a license.

We analyzed the customs classification of products subject to anti-dumping duties. Our analysis showed that the client’s goods should not be subject to the duty. With our support, the client recovered the wrongly paid duty.

We conducted detailed analyses of partners from Russia, Belarus, Switzerland, Austria, UAE, and Iran. We checked their personal and capital ties to confirm transaction compliance with sanctions regulations.

We coordinated additional agreements between the client and foreign partners (e.g., from France) to adapt and ensure compliance of supply contracts with sanctions regulations. Thanks to our advice, the client could fully settle received goods.

Based on an agreed sanctions verification process, we prepared a comprehensive compliance procedure. It included the specifics of global supply chains and the need for ongoing monitoring.

We developed dual-use product management policies for a construction chemicals company. We also conducted training to raise team awareness of regulatory obligations.
