Jan Kunicki

Senior Associate OW Legal

A specialist in legal advice related to mergers and acquisitions transactions for Polish and foreign entities. He has extensive experience in providing legal services to capital groups, investment funds and private entities.

Jan comprehensively participates in every stage of M&A transactions, in particular in conducting legal due diligence processes of acquired entities. His experience includes advising on share deals and asset deal transactions of entities operating in the construction, financial, film and furniture industries, among others.

Prior to joining OW Group, he gained experience at a law firm from the BIG4.

Specialist in commercial law, real estate law and family law in countries in the South African region.

He completed his law degree as part of interdepartmental studies at the University of Warsaw, where he is currently pursuing a doctoral project.

Author of publications and scientific speeches at conferences and workshops, including on real estate law in Africa and sources of Polish contract law. Grantee of a project funded by the National Science Centre.

Jan is fluent in English and French.
