Acquisitions in Germany:
legal, organizational and cultural aspects
In‑person meeting in Warsaw | 18 February 2026, 6:00 PM
Together with the ROHDE BAIER law firm, we invite you to a meeting dedicated to the practical aspects of conducting transactions and acquisitions in Germany.
Operating effectively on the German market requires not only legal knowledge, but above all an understanding of how a foreign investor is perceived within the legal, business, and cultural environment. Entering the German market through an acquisition is currently a hot topic both in Poland and Germany. That is why during the event we will bring together two perspectives:
- the Polish investor – their expectations, pace of action, assumptions about the German market, the most common mistakes and practical recommendations,
- the German advisor – who works daily within the local legal and organizational landscape and supports investors in negotiations.
We will discuss how to build strong relationships in challenging times and why they play a key role in M&A transactions. We will highlight practical and often non-obvious factors that influence the transaction process, including how German courts operate, the pace of administrative work and the differences between Länder.
Who will benefit from this meeting?
The event is aimed at investors and companies considering expansion into Germany who want to meet experienced advisors able to share their perspective and address practical, real‑life questions.
Focus on discussion
The meeting will take place in a small group conducive to discussion and exchanging insights. We want to provide participants with space to share their observations related to investments and transactions, and to help them build valuable connections.
All of this will take place in a relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by a glass of wine.
The meeting will be held in a mixed format, with presentations in both Polish and English.
