Mariusz specialises in consumer protection law, data protection law and new technology law.
On a daily basis, he advises clients from the e-commerce and TMT sectors that operate on several continents. He has been involved in projects regarding the changing business models of online stores, SaaS contracting and processing of personal data (also in third countries). As an expert in marketing and advertising law, he helps marketing departments to design communication strategies, taking into account the latest jurisprudence of Polish and European courts and regulators.
He advises entrepreneurs on matters related to collective consumer interests, abusive clauses, unfair market practices and personal data protection, also at the stage of providing explanations to authorised offices. He also analyses clients’ activities in terms of legal and competitive requirements. He provides ongoing support to the largest websites in Central and Eastern Europe in implementing and enforcing Polish and EU legal regulations.
In his professional career to date, he has conducted proceedings on behalf of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, counteracting illegal activities on the online and telecommunications market. He has also advised a telecommunications entrepreneur as an in-house lawyer.
He is a graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and a member of the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw.
