He runs a TMT/IP practice. He specializes in legal advice on new technologies and brand protection, he also supports Clients in protecting personal data in IT systems.

He coordinates the protection of Clients’ rights in several dozen countries, also outside the European Union. Andrzej advises in areas related to distribution and implementation agreements, domain disputes, cloud computing. He supports Clients in obtaining and protecting industrial property rights (e.g. trademarks, patents) and combating acts of unfair competition, and on the data protection side, he supports, among others, one of the largest fashion retailers in Poland.

He has been working with OW since 2015 and he was a co-founder of TMT/IP team, which he currently heads. Previously, he worked, among others, for the specialised Community Trademark and Design Court. He designed license agreements and prosecuted infringements of IP rights, among others, for world leaders of the entertainment industry, including the largest film and multimedia producers. He conducted audits of IP rights in due diligence processes of technological start-ups and TMT industry leaders.

Winner of the competition of the Polish Patent Office for the best scientific paper in the field of IP. Co-author of the books ‘Ochrona danych osobowych w dziale IT’ (Protection of personal data in the IT department) and ‘Ochrona danych osobowych w działach kadr zgodnie z RODO’ (Protection of personal data in human resources departments in accordance with the GDPR). He regularly publishes in national newspapers and trade press.

Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw.

In the international ranking The Legal 500 he was awarded the title of Recommended lawyer in the fields of Data privacy and data protection and TMT.

Awarded in the Deal Maker Awards 2022, organised by Finance Monthly magazine.

Apart from Polish, he also provides advice in English.

His hobbies include hitchhiking, sailing and mountain hiking.
