Conference “Poland – Asia. The twilight of the old globalisation and the dawn of the new one”

The OW has once again become a partner of an international academic conference combined with an economic forum, dedicated to Poland’s cooperation with Asian countries – “Poland – Asia. The twilight of the old globalisation and the dawn of the new one”.

The main objective of the conference is to present the scientific potential of Polish Asian studies, as well as to exchange experience and discuss the plans, possibilities and needs for Asia-related studies. The meeting will be attended by representatives of local and state administrations and entrepreneurs active in Polish and Asian markets.

 

Each day of the conference will focus on a different topic:

26.09 – China

27.09 – Korea

28.09 – Economic forum (Asian continent)

29.09 – Turkey

30.09 – Economic forum (Asian continent)

 

Among the speakers who will give a talk on the first day of the conference during the plenary session “China and business” will be Filip Mroczkowski, partner responsible for the development of the OW Asia Desk, and Bartosz Jeziorski, manager who heads the team dealing with state aid fundraising. Filip and Bartosz will discuss the practical aspects of Asian investments in Poland.

The conference will take place on 26-30 September at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics at the University of Wrocław (26-29.09) and at the Centrum Kształcenia Ustawicznego at the Wrocław University of Economics (30.09).

The event is organised by the Centre for Asian Studies, operating within the Central European Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the University of Wrocław, Wrocław University of Economics, Wrocław University of Life Sciences and University of Technology in Opole. Participation is free of charge.
